Extra Charge
❗️
Extra guest charges (Extra Adult, Extra Child) from ONDA API are not used. Please follow this guide to prevent any claims.
Key Summary
- Do not use extra charges: Do not include Extra Adult/Child amounts from API responses in payments
- Search by base occupancy: Search for rooms based on total guests including infants/children
- Mandatory on-site payment notice: Always inform customers that extra charges may be payable on-site
Why are extra guest charges not used?
Although API responses contain extra guest charge fields, most suppliers (properties) do not sufficiently provide values for these fields.

| 2 adults | 2 guests |
| 2 adults + 1 child | 3 guests |
| 2 adults + 1 child + 1 infant | 4 guests |

- API Search: Search for rooms with
base occupancy of 4 or more- Reservation Request: Book with the room's base occupancy and standard room rate
Reservation Request Guidelines
Follow these guidelines when making a reservation request:
- Base Occupancy: Book with the room's base occupancy
- Rate: Only charge the standard room rate (exclude extra guest charges)
- Extra Charge Fields: Ignore extra guest charge fields in API responses
Mandatory Customer Notice

Partners must inform customers of the following:
"Additional charges may be payable on-site for guests exceeding the base occupancy."
Why This Notice is Necessary
- Extra charges for infants/children are not provided as separate data
- This information is included in the property details (text)
- Failure to provide on-site payment notice may result in claims
