Cancellation Policy

For hotel products, the cancellation & refund fee policy when querying inventory/rates may differ from the actual cancellation & refund fee policy for reserved bookings. Please refer to this document.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • ONDA's cancellation & refund policy is divided into two types: Static Policy and Dynamic Policy.
  • When canceling a reservation, the actual cancellation & refund processing follows the Dynamic Policy.

What is Static Policy?

  • A basic policy set at the property level, displaying the most conservative cancellation & refund policy.
  • This is the value of the refund_policy object in Search Property Detail.
  • Therefore, when a customer actually cancels a reservation, it may be processed with a different policy than this policy. (Different cancellation fees and refund amounts)

What is Dynamic Policy?

  • The actual cancellation & refund policy for the room and package the customer wants to book, displaying policies that may vary by room and time.
  • You can check the actual cancellation & refund policy that will be applied by calling Check Avail before reservation immediately before reservation.
  • When a customer actually cancels a reservation, it is processed according to the dynamic policy.
